Students learned all about economics and ran a classroom economy for three weeks. They learned what wants and needs were, how supply and demand worked and what a good and a service was. They also earned money for classroom jobs, being at school, and more. They spent money on school supplies, taxes, and paid rent for their desk. After those three weeks we hosted classroom businesses where students were the workers and designed the store too. Students were able to spend their Spooner Bucks on each store. It was a great experience! This awesome fair was funded through DonorsChoose.org. You can check out the project here: https://www.donorschoose.org/project/shop-to-learn-play-and-grow/3238469/
