WHITE OUT

The teachers sang a Spooner athlete song to "Jingle Bells"

Sprinting down the court, forming a brilliant play
Passed the opponent we go, dribbling all the way
Sweat on brows they swipe, looking left and to the right
What fun it is to cheer and pep our Rail players on game nights

Chorus: Spooner rails-Spooner rails
Rail Pride all the way
Oh what fun it is to yell, “SP-OO-NER” Hey
Spooner rails-Spooner rails
Rail Pride all the way
How we love to cheer them on
Spooner Athletes are number one

Drop the puck and go, Face off underway
Skate just like the wind, make a power play
Hip check to the left, passing to the right
Take the shot and score a lot, without getting in a fight

Chorus

Get ready for the meet, put on the single-let
You’ve trained and made the weight, to be strong and be fit
It’s time to hit the mat, so hopeful for the win
Time to take the opponent down, Full Nelson for the pin

Chorus

Students from the Elementary School dressed Mrs. Smith up as a snowman!

Mr. Larrabee, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Smith

Third Grade Teacher Blog Links

I've added the other teacher blog links to the right, a little ways down. This way if I ever forget to post WTW words, you'll have them as backup :)

Right Roads Kids

Today we had a Skype session with Paula Phillips from Right Roads Kids (http://rightroadkids.org/) She talked with us about kindness and even did a "No Blue" experiment. It was a great tie in to our Kindness Challenge. We do not want to do anything that makes anyone else feel "blue." We are also going to try to treat others the way we want to be treated. Be sure to ask your child about this awesome presentation!

We have a lot to learn and do in three days. Thank you for your support and involvement in all our activities!

A Caroling We Will Go

We had a blast giving out cookies that we had frosted to local businesses and community members. We LOVED singing and sharing joy!

Coding With Kindergarten

Today we did Kodable again with Kindergarten. Our students did a fabulous job being the teachers to our younger students. I am very proud of them!
