Junior Achievement
Yesterday we had our final day of Junior Achievement. We have learned a lot about business, money, communities, and more. Be sure to ask your child all about it. Students were given a certificate and a fun gift from Mrs. Heather our Junior Achievement volunteer!

It's a...

A few weeks ago students took a guess at whether baby was a girl or a boy:
Virtual Field Trip
We took a virtual field trip today and learned a lot about renewable energy. You can watch using this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5SZywTo6Do. We asked and answered questions all throughout the field trip. It's a pretty neat experience!
Junior Achievment
Mrs. Heather Hestad has been coming in twice a week and teaching our class using a program called Junior Achievement. We are learning more about wants, needs, money, cities, business, saving, banks, goods, services, and more! We've learned a lot!

WIN Robots
In WIN class we read The Iron Giant and learned about robots. Students got to work with Dash and Dot, BB-8 Sphero, and Lego Mindstorms - Everstorm. Today we had a little robot race. (There's a video at the bottom of this post)

Mom's Are The Best!
We hope all our mothers enjoyed our modge podge vases and painted flowers. We loved making them and so appreciate our moms!
Tie Dye Adventures
Through a program called DonorsChoose.org we were able to get screen-printed t-shirts for every student in 3rd grade. A special thank you to 37 People, the Lily Sarah Grace Foundation, and Sam Smith of Sam's Resale for helping us get these t-shirts fully funded and printed. Students were able to then choose a tie dye design and roll, twist, and rubber band their choice. We then put them in our dye mixture for a day and there they were, our tie dye t-shirts!
