Our Last Day

It was a fun, but bittersweet day. We had a lot of great activities today and we definitely had a great year. We have all grown so much and learned so much! Thank you for entrusting me with your children and partnering with me. I am excited to see all the great things they accomplish in 4th grade next year!

We grew 26 1/2 inches this year!

Family Picnic

We had an awesome family picnic on the last day of school.

Last Days

We played kickball with Mrs. William's class on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun!

We had to do a lot of demolition of our amazing creations, so we decided to take some pictures before we destroyed them!

Track and Field

Today we had a phenomenal afternoon of track and field events. We only had a two minute down pour, which we had great cover under the bleachers. We had fun and enjoyed cheering our classmates on! Teachers were the score keepers and time keepers! Pictures can be found by clicking here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4B6qqBRN5ifV3NBS2NYaDZmMlE&usp=sharing

The last leg of the 3rd grade relay race:

Money Talk With Tansy and Molly

Our TA, Tansy Pocernich brought her puppet, Molly and did a ventriloquism skit for us. She wrote it about money to go along with our Economics unit. We loved it! Click this link to watch the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4B6qqBRN5ifOHl1end0SXVCVjg/view?usp=sharing

Econ Fair

Over the past two week students have learned all about Economics, money, business, wants, needs, supply, demand, producers, consumers, saving, giving, and more. Today we held our Econ Fair. Student earned tickets by helping out at home and looking for random acts of kindness and odd jobs to do at school. Today students shopped at the Painting Palace (face painting), Pop Pop Wii (Wii bowling), Smith 3D (printed 3D necklace charms), The Awesomes Awesome Bracelet (bracelet making store), The Cookie Rookie Store (cookie decorating store) and The Photographers (pictures with an outdoor background). After shopping they came back and worked in our stores. In our Smith 3D shop we had a cashier, a janitor, two sales people, a tailor, a string person, a manager, and a greeter. It was a great experience! We sold 62 3D printed charms. They took us all week to print!

Volunteers

Today at RAILS rally we thanked our wonderful volunteers. This year we've had the privilege to have  parents come and help during different times. Mrs. Hestad also spent quite a few days with us teaching us using Junior Achievement curriculum and Mrs. Hill came every week to read with us. We were very blessed!

Our last Rails Rally of the year.
