Today we did a BreakoutEdu (www.breakoutedu.com) created by Mrs. Smith. Basically there was a clue to get into every locked box. Students had to solve the clue and figure out the combination from the clue. Together they solved all six clues in 27 minutes! I will work on editing the video on Monday and share it with you. It was really neat to listen to them work together and think about what the lock combinations could be. The clues involved area, biomes, puzzles, spelling secret code, place value, and time. The locks each have a different way of opening. One is a key, one has a 3 digit number code, one has a 4 digit number code, one has a 5 digit letter code, one has a 4 digit letter code, one is a carabineer style with a 3 digit number code, one is a traditional lock, and we even have a directional lock. I'm sure your children will tell you even more about it!
