March 18th-22nd

We're already halfway through our week!

We are busy planning Family Math Day. Remember to turn in your forms. Family Math Day is next Wednesday, March 27th from 8:30 to 11:30. A-L families should plan to come from 8:30 to 10 and M-Z families should come from 10 to 11:30. There are lots of exciting things planned this year including a Trail Mix Station, Guessing Jars with Prizes, Face Painting, and of course, the Book Fair! Hope to see you there. Look for a letter coming home Monday :)

Our classroom play is on April 5th at 1:00. Please plan to be there if you are capable. I will also be videotaping.

It's a Cold One

I would never have guessed we would get that much more snow! The students are loving it, while I am wishing for Spring!

On Monday Dr. Haack came and read a freedom story to us. We love having reading visitors.

Smith I am

What a great week!

You'll find I updated last week's post with a Spelling Bee photo and a Spelling Bee video. I also added a poetry reading from all students. I also added Jump Rope for Heart pictures. Enjoy!

Today we had Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day. What a fun day! The entire school read from 8:20 to 8:40!

We even tried green eggs and "graham." Be sure to check out the pictures: Green Eggs and Graham Pictures.
