BINGO

Mr. Carlton's class came over to our room to play Harvest BINGO with us. We had a blast!

Turkeys, Stuffed Animals, and Orange

We had a great Friday. We created 3D turkeys, wore bright orange, and brought stuffed animals as a behavior reward. It was great day. I'd also like to note that I, Mrs. Smith, barely had a voice. (No sore throat, just one that was almost gone) All students did a wonderful job being respectful and adapted to our amplifier microphone system. I'm proud to be their teacher!

RAILS Rally

On Friday we had a RAILS rally. We recognized students from every grade level that show our school rules every day. Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Kind, and Be Engaged. All students in our classroom follow these rules most days, but we wanted to highlight those who follow every day.

Hannah - Responsible, Alex - Engaged, Alexis - Respectful, Izabella - Kind

Gum and Flashlights Needed

We use gum during tests and quizzes. Studies say that it helps with focusing. If you are able, please send a pack or two of sugarless gum.

We are also going to start flashlight Fridays during our read to self time. If you have a small flashlight or two that you are not using, please send them. I will label it with your child's name, so that it gets home at the end of the year. Thank you!

ChatterPix Word Problems

Today we created word problems and recorded them onto ChatterPix. Click the link below and listen to each ChatterPix. They worked on these in groups to create, solve, record, and design.
