Visiting the Nursing Home
We had a nice trip to the Maple Ridge Center today. We sang "Gratitude Attitude" and created a wreath craft with the residents. We got rained on, on the way back, but we had a great time. What a wonderful learning experience.

Honey Bees, Junior Achievement and FFA Earth Day
We learned about honey bees! |
We've loved learning about money and economics with Mrs. Bullion! This day we planned out our business plan:
FFA teamed up with Americorps to teach us all about Earth Day and share animals and plants with us:
Our walk to the movie theater was beautiful. We loved watching the movie, Wonder, for our positive behavior reward!
Delivering Our Plants
We spent all afternoon Friday, April 20th delivering our pots to local businesses. It is a great way to give back to the community and celebrate Earth Day!
Walking down! |
Learning About the Wisconsin Bottom
We learned all about the "Wisconsin Bottom" from Ben and Branda Thwaits. This goes right along with our biomes unit. Thank you for sharing with us!
Painting and Planting Pots
We painted and planted pots to deliver on Earth Day. This is an annual field trip and students always love it! Getting fresh air and meeting community members was awesome!
