Glass Giving

We hope that our parents and families have all received their glass gift! We had a blast making these! This is a gift that can be enjoyed for many years to come. These awesome plates were donated through DonorsChoose.org. 56 donors gave $246 so that all 3rd grade students could make one. You can view the project here: https://www.donorschoose.org/project/glass-giving-is-great-this-year/2238189/?rf=page-siteshare-2016-12-project-teacher_1537949&challengeid=251476

Here are some pictures of us doing the project. We sure had a good time getting creative and messy!

Step 1: Modge Podge tissue paper onto plate! (Picture in the center)

A Wonderful Bittersweet Day

Pajama Day!
Present time!

All School Sing Along

Saying Goodbye is Hard!
Today was Mrs. Klein's last day in our classroom. I could tell that students have enjoyed their time with her and have learned a lot from her. We will all miss her.

We Broke Out!

We did a Breakout Edu called Reindeer Games. Students solved clues to open locks and boxes to get puzzle pieces. Together those puzzle pieces unlocked the final box and the class got a special treat. It was a great experience to learn teamwork and problem solving! Be sure to ask your child about it!
